Coconuts

This is a fun game to play either as an instant activity or as a game in you traveling unit.  This game teaches students how to move in different directions and with different movement patterns.  Each student will have a nest which is a hula hoop and one bean bag which is the coconut.  The students will travel to another students nest and try to steal their coconut, students may only carry 1 coconut at a time.  They must return the stolen coconut to their nest before getting another one.  The student with the most coconuts at the end of the game will be the winner.  Students should come up with different ways of getting the most coconuts.
